Panasonic DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Telephone with 3 Handsets

I wanted a phone with no answering feature, which this lacks. Call quality is good, but to do the simplest thing, like change the ringer volume or look at missed calls, requires scrolling through menus to reach what you want to do.
Also, it does not always recognize there is a voice mail from my phone service provider.
The screen is large, but so are the pixels they use. Looks a bit jagged. And the caller ID shows less characters than my Uniden did even though that one has a smaller screen.
The light on top, which shows a voice mail waiting, is also lit when charging-confusing even though voice mail blinks and charge is steady. And it’s way too small and blinks too slowly.
The ringer tone selection is meager and the ones available are not very pleasing.
This one is going back. It seems like they just went through the motions when designing this phone.

I read all the reviews and have been happy with previous Panasonic phones. This phone, however, is difficult to use and the manual is close to impossible to understand. You basically have to set it up by trial and error. The worst thing, though is that the sound quality is terrible. I hear a constant sound in the background. Panasonic “help” wasn’t much help. They gave me some suggestions and said if that didn’t work I should send it back to them and they would replace it with a reconditioned phone. This was after I had the phone for 1 day…they would replace with a used one. This will be my last Panasonic!

I am happy with the phones. There are 3 phones, 2 of which you can plug in to any electric outlet, which is great. This means you don’t need to have 3 phone jacks. I have never had a problem with the reception or the quality. I do find that when I go to put the phone back into its holder, I always miss and I end up dropping it as it falls so easily out of its little holder. I also have found that paging the phone for the receiver is a worthless feature as it never pages the right phone. Other than those minor annoyances, this is a good value for the money.

Ever just want to plug something in and have it work, then these phones should be just right for you. Fine upgrade over previous model with larger display area and easier to read. I could go on, but then I would be spending longer than it took to install them.
